We currently do not have a preferred vendor list but can certainly provide recommended vendors upon request. We welcome all vendors assuming they can abide by The Addison Farm rules and regulations.  The Addison Farm reserves the right to not approve any vendor based on their reputation, previous working history at the facility or lack of valid insurances and licenses.

Clients are allowed to buy & bring their own alcohol but The Addison Farm requires that the client has a certified, licensed, and insured professional bartender to serve alcoholic beverages. Self-serve alcohol is strictly prohibited. Bartenders can be obtained through the clients’ caterer or a professional bartending service.   If the client is serving hard liquor at the event,  the state of North Carolina requires an ABC Permit to be purchased. If only beer & wine is to be served, no ABC permit is required.  https://abc.nc.gov/Permit/SpecialPermits

The Reception Barn can accommodate up to 425 guests reception style (non-seated) and 362 guests for a seated, plated meal. Outdoor ceremonies on the Veranda can host up to 340 guests (seated and standing).  Ceremonies at the Old Oak can only accommodate up to 50 guests and is standing room only.

We require a coordinator and/or planner to ensure the success of your event and the integrity of the facility.  Coordinators & planners help guide many aspects of a wedding including managing the timeline of events, installation of décor, vendor coordination and follow up, guest organization, bridal party organization and any additional responsibilities throughout the day of your event. Coordinators and planners also lead rehearsals so the bridal party and immediate families of the Bride & Groom are familiar with their roles on the wedding day.

For the safety of all clients, guests, vendors and employees, Event Insurance is required for all events held at The Addison Farm. Each client must carry Special Event Insurance or a Certificate of General Liability and Liquor Liability (if serving alcohol) for the event naming The Addison Farm of AC, LLC & Sasser Farms LLC, (the venue) as additional insured. More information regarding insurance is provided on the contract and can be requested at any time.

Wedding dates are officially booked for The Addison Farm when a signed contract and the 50% deposit + the $500 refundable security deposit has been received.  The remaining 50% deposit is not due until 60 days prior to your wedding date.  If you would like to set up a payment plan for monthly or quarterly payments, please contact the Sales Manager for details. The $500 refundable security deposit will be returned to the client within two weeks of the event less any amount held for damages to the venue or property.

The front parking lot can accommodate up to 160 cars for events for guests and vendors. In the event that more parking is needed, additional field parking is available for an additional fee.  All events with over 250 guests will be required to add on the filed parking to their contract for their guests. It is recommended to have vendor employees carpool to the event to reduce the number of vendor cars.

All indoor spaces at The Addison Farm are temperature controlled with air conditioning and heat as needed.  It is preferred that doors to the outside remain closed during events to maintain the desired temperatures and keep out any potential country bugs. The Addison Farm also has an indoor fireplace for added heat as well as an outdoor fireplace and two fire-pits for outdoor warmth if needed.
