When can I tour the space?

The venue and property is available for tours Monday – Friday by appointment only. While we do our best to accommodate schedules,  we cannot show the property during an event. Weekend tours can only be made under circumstances. Contact us to schedule your tour as we’d love to show you our beautiful space!

What is included?

We have a standard package that you can view on our features and amenities page. In addition, we have a lot of additional options that can be added on for your special event.

What is the rain plan?

We have designed our barn with a draping system that allows the space to be partitioned for indoor ceremonies in case the weather does not agree with event schedules. Due to unpredictable weather, we do require a weather back up plan for all events that include outdoor use.

Do you provide event coordination?

We regretfully do not provide event coordination and planning at this time but are happy to work with clients to ensure their special event runs smooth.  We do recommend that you hire a planner and coordinator for your wedding day needs!

How do we book with you?

After a tour of the venue and the decision has been made to host your big event at The Addison Farm, we will provide you with a detailed contract.  We also provide you with helpful information regarding required insurance & permits.  A 50% deposit and $500 security deposit is due upon contract signing to ensure your event date, space & times are officially booked.

Can we bring in any vendors we want?

While we do not currently have a Preferred Vendors List, we do require all businesses that work at The Addison Farm to be properly licensed and insured within the state of North Carolina. This is especially true for Caterers & Bartenders.  Upon booking an event, you will be provided with the documentation required for these vendors.  With all vendors, we encourage them to schedule a visit to The Addison Farm prior to the event date to ensure they are familiar and aware of the space and all rules & regulations required to work on our property.

Can we serve our own alcohol at the wedding or event?

All events are allowed to serve alcohol with the proper insurance and permitting required by the state of North Carolina and The Addision Farm.  No alcohol is allowed to be self-served at any time. The Addison Farm requires licensed bartenders through catering services or a professional bartending service to be used for bartending during events.

Can I provide my own food?

The Addison Farm requires licensed Caterers to provide food for large events.  We will consider allowing bringing in your own food for small events less with less than 50 guests.  Please inquire within for more details.

Are there any decoration restrictions?

Open flame candles must be enclosed in glass vases or lanterns. We do not allow any staples, nails, duct tape or screws to be used to attach items to the building. Decorating may begin at the start of your 12-hour period unless otherwise approved ahead of time by the venue manager.

Is there parking at the facility?

We have a dedicated parking lot for up to 150 cars directly across from the barn, including multiple handicapped spaces next to the building. Additional field parking is available for an additional fee.

Who will set up the rentals?

Tables, chairs and all venue provided furniture listed on your contract will be set up by our staff prior to your event date. All outsourced rentals and decorations, including but not limited to linens, florals, decorative details, table settings etc. are to be set up by the client, designer, planner or helpful family members.
